How I Got Started
"For all of my life I've enjoyed taking photos and usually limited myself to snapshots at family gatherings or when traveling. In 2003 I was in Washington DC standing in front of a large suspended sculpture, staring at it from the side the sculpture didn't look like anything special. However looking at it from underneath gave me a entirely different perspective. I put my back on the ground, looked up, composed my shot and really remember that as the first time I purposely and thoughtfully took a photo. I took that photo with a borrowed 2 MP Sony Cybershot, you can see it in the sculpture gallery. After that trip I bought my first digital camera and my passion for photography continues to grow everyday."
